Carlota Toledo is the Director of Academic & Bar Success at Syracuse University College of Law. Carlota is also the Vice President and Chief Diversity Officer for the Association of Academic Support Educators, where she chairs the Diversity Committee. AASE remains committed to diversity in the legal profession. Our Bylaws provide that the Chair of the Diversity Committee shall serve on the Board of Directors for a two-year term and they require Board members to receive diversity training each program year.

Carlota has completed one year of her two-year term, and in that time, she has spearheaded diversity initiatives, including a fall DEI webinar that was widely attended.  Carlota is also deeply committed to status and inclusion for Academic Support Professionals, and she has played a vocal role in AASE's public comment to ABA Standard 405 and in expanding the relationship between AASE and the ABA.

In her career that has spanned over a decade, Carlota has helped hundreds and hundreds of students to reach their academic and professional goals. She is known to many of us in ASP for her early leadership role in the Association. Carlota walks the talk and embodies all that we value in ASP.  We are honored by your service, Carlota!
