The Law School Academic Support Blog has been a cornerstone resource for Academic Support professionals in legal education since its launch in 2005 as part of the Law Professor Blogs Network. For over two decades, our platform has served as a vital hub where members of the Academic and Bar Support community have contributed regularly, sharing insights, strategies, and expertise that help shape the future of legal education.
What began as a collaborative space has evolved into something much more meaningful—a launching pad for countless articles, books, and conference presentations. For many of our contributors, their first published pieces appeared right here on our blog, marking the beginning of their journey as legal scholars and thought leaders.
With the sunset of the Law Professor Blogs Network, we were determined to preserve the valuable contributions from our past while continuing the tradition of sharing essential information with our community. We found a new home for now with WordPress, ensuring that this important resource remains accessible to those who need it most.
Moving forward, we remain committed to making our postings relevant to Academic Support Program (ASP) professionals, law students, and readers alike. We understand that “one size fits all” simply doesn’t work in the world of academic support. While we each bring our own program models and perspectives to the table, we strive to offer insights that can be adapted and utilized by as many ASP professionals and students as possible.
We recognize that this transition may require some adjusting as we settle into our new platform, but we trust that you’ll continue to find value in the blog just as you have over the past two decades. Our mission remains unchanged: fostering a supportive community where academic support professionals can share knowledge, learn from one another, and ultimately help law students and graduates succeed.
