Reflections from the AASE Conference in Boston

This week, I had the pleasure of attending the AASE Conference in Boston, hosted at Suffolk Law.  Surrounded by historic landmarks and revolutionary reenactors walking the Freedom Trail, the city was the perfect backdrop for the AASE community to meet and continue to lead a revolution of its own, pushing back against outdated models of legal education and charting a more inclusive course. From open to close, the conference was a refreshing reminder that our field thrives on innovation and courage. I enjoyed meeting many of you during the sessions and in the hallways. It was nice to know that, while we may feel isolated at our home institutions, we are not doing this work alone. A huge thank you to the AASE conference host, Liz Stillman, to the planning committee, and to the leadership board. Until next time, AASE—thank you for anchoring us in purpose, and reminding us that revolutions, big and small, begin with brave people who care enough to act. Safe travels home!
